![]() I start the ejabberdctl service, then when I display the status, below is the error shown. The problem of mine came when I reboot my server. I successfully installed EJABBERD(2.0.5) in FEDORA 10.0, all was set and things needed to configured and successfully connected to the IM client(PIDGIN) I tried to use for testing. Supervisor starts its subprocesses via fork/exec and subprocesses don’t daemonize. You can configure Supervisor to provide a local or remote command line and web interface. Processes can be controlled individually or in groups. You may start the supervisord executable in the foreground by passing the -n flag on its command line. It keeps an operations log at CWD/supervisor.log by default. The resulting process will daemonize itself and detach from the terminal. For example: trying to register a user: rootns1: ejabberdctl register myusername mypassword Failed RPC connection to the node ejabberdns1: nodedown I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Supervisor provides you with one place to start, stop, and monitor your processes. To start supervisord, run BINDIR/supervisord. systemctl stop rvice systemctl restart rvice Failed to restart rvice: Unit not found. ejabberdctl Even when it appears ejabberd is running, trying to do anything with ejabberdctl fails.
